Google Voice connected with Gmail interface

Many like the idea of making free phone called from the United States to any other numbers whether it is cell phone, desktop virtual phone or land line. Most people like the idea. Those who do not typically are connected to phone service providers. Google users can make and receive calls for free when it comes to Google Voice being connected to Gmail. Anywhere you are able to access Gmail, you can make a free call.

Google Voice helps by making a phone service out of your Gmail contacts

Just because cell phone coverage isn’t there doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to make calls. Just use Google Voice with any internet connection. Any calls outside the U.S. or Canada do have a rate. The rate is only 2 cents per minute though. Tech Crunch reports what is needed for this. All you’ve to do is get the Google Talk plug-in. Your Gmail inbox saves voicemails and your Gmail interface allows you to make and receive calls. There is also one more really cool thing. Just transfer calls from Google Voice to your cell phone if you are on the run but want to keep talking.

Google Voice in Gmail is coming soon

Google is rolling out the new Google Voice features over the next few days to U.S.-based Gmail accounts, according to the official Google Voice Blog. The Google Chat list will pop up a “call phone” when it is accessible. Google users who are using Google Apps for academic or business purposes may also be able to enjoy the new Google Voice features and free calling, but integration will take slightly longer in that case.
